Leinenkugel’s

Sugarhi was tapped by the agency Mono to shoot and deliver a summer campaign for the beer brand Leinenkugel’s. And since “summer” and “beer” are two of favorite things, how could we say no?

Of course, we couldn’t go to Puerto Rico and NOT bring the trusty phantom along. We shot all the elements on location, capturing the can spritzes and the water balloon burst in situation with the beautiful lake in the background. We also rigged the balloons to drop and burst at just the right time, so we really had the water moments dialed in.

Summer Shandy

For the Summer Shandy spot we shot 5 days of UGC style spots. The idea was to hit the northern woods of Wisconsin to capture people having fun out on the lake under the summer sun…but the clincher was that we had to shoot in the dead of winter. Well, the only place we could find swimmable lakes was Puerto Rico, which worked out perfectly! We just build docks and cabins to mimic that northern woods feel.
